suggestion

suggestion is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Hmbown/Wizards-of-the-Ghosts. It costs 65 tokens per session (883 once invoked), scanned A, original, CC0-1.0.

A microcopy guide for writing one reasonable prompt that encourages a specific user action at a specific moment. Microcopy is short interface text such as a button label, tooltip, notification, or onboarding message.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to write a single call to action, tooltip, prompt, notification, or onboarding message for one step in a user flow.
Why use it?
It focuses a vague conversion or encouragement problem into one clear nudge without using a campaign or broad automation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00065 $0.00883
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00441
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00177
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00088

Security

Grade A, and why

suggestion scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Suggestion

Plant one well-crafted idea that a person will want to act on.

What This Skill Does

Suggestion is about the craft of the single nudge — not campaigns, not arguments, not automation. It produces one carefully placed prompt at the moment a user is most receptive. The planted idea must be reasonable and defensible. If the user would feel manipulated upon learning how it was designed, the spell refuses. In this grimoire, Suggestion is treated as a metaphorical spell with a shipping-now delivery profile. Canonical reference input: Suggestion (spell).

When To Use

  • Trigger this spell when the request asks for a single, well-placed piece of copy that nudges a specific user action. Look for:
  • Words: nudge, CTA, microcopy, tooltip text, notification copy, prompt text, onboarding message, gentle encouragement
  • Patterns: "write copy that gets users to X", "how do we encourage users to...", "tooltip/prompt for [feature]", "improve conversion on [specific step]"
  • Scope: ONE action, ONE moment in a flow, ONE piece of text

Prerequisites

  • No extra runtime dependencies beyond Hermes Agent and the normal toolset for this session.

Procedure

  1. Restate the target, the success condition, and any no-touch boundaries before taking action.
  2. Identify the single action and verify it is genuinely neutral or beneficial to the user. If not, flag and refuse.
  3. Pinpoint the moment of maximum receptivity — where in the flow does this prompt naturally belong?
  4. Draft in the user's voice, not the company's. One sentence or short phrase. No walls of text.
  5. Run the disclosure test: would the user feel okay learning this was deliberately designed to steer them? If no, revise or refuse.
  6. Return: the copy + placement/timing guidance + a one-line manipulation audit explaining why this nudge is legitimate (or why it isn't).
  7. Package the result as the deliverables below, with confidence, assumptions, and unresolved risk called out explicitly.

Deliverables

  • The nudge copy (CTA, tooltip, notification, or prompt text)
  • Where and when to show it
  • Manipulation audit: one sentence on why this passes the sniff test, or a refusal flag

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
