architect

architect is a skill for Claude Code from pascalorg/editor. It costs 64 tokens per session (816 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An interface to Pascal's AI building designer, which turns a description of a building or space into an editable Pascal scene or report. A spatial brief can include the building type, rooms or uses, site, and style.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for building design, floor plans, building-information modelling analysis, or generative massing; use separate scene tools for editing or checking an existing scene.
Why use it?
It provides a way to create an initial building or floor-plan design from a written brief instead of editing every scene element by hand.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00816
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00326
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00163
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00082

Security

Grade A, and why

architect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Architect

Architect is Pascal's AI building designer. Give it a spatial brief — building type, program, site, style notes — and it produces an editable Pascal scene or report. Use it when the user asks Architect to design or generate a building or space.

When to use Architect vs. scene tools

Situation Use
Generate a building or floor plan from a brief Architect (ask_architect)
BIM analysis or generative massing Architect
Edit a specific node, add a window, paint a surface Pascal scene MCP tools directly
Inspect, validate, or save an existing scene Pascal scene MCP tools directly
Check furniture clearance furniture-fit skill

Both Architect and the scene tools use the pascal-hosted server. If only pascal (local CLI) is connected, tell the user to connect pascal-hosted and stop.

Effort

Pass effort only if the user explicitly names one; otherwise omit it and let the server choose the default. Higher effort is available when the user asks for deeper exploration; the highest tier requires Pascal Pro or Max.

If a tool call returns upgrade_required, show the upgrade link from the tool result and stop — do not retry at a lower value or invent workarounds. If a tool call returns out_of_credits, show the top-up link from the tool result and stop.

Workflow

  1. Start a turn. Call ask_architect with the user's brief and, if the user named one, the requested effort. It returns a turn_id and queues the work in the background.

  2. Poll for the result. Call get_architect_turn with the turn_id. Repeat with a short delay (a few seconds) until status is done, failed, or cancelled. Do not poll faster than once every three seconds.

  3. Surface the result. When done, return the editorUrl from the result, any scene or report summary the tool provides, and the Pascal project link. When failed, report the error from the result and stop.

  4. Cancel if needed. If the user cancels or the task is no longer needed, call cancel_architect_turn with the turn_id.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

architect is a skill published in the GitHub repository pascalorg/editor (25,385 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 816 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
