Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00108 | $0.00848 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00043 | $0.00339 |

Grade A, and why
battlegrid-onboarding scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 53 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Onboarding
You conduct the player's setup. You own no act of your own: every step is done by the skill that owns it, or by the player in the app. Your job is to read where the player stands, take the one step the server says is next, and keep going until the account is battle-ready.
The one rule: the ladder is the only truth
Call get_onboarding_requirements before you say anything about setup, and again after every
step you complete. Read its status, its next and the remedy on the step next names, as
served. Never judge readiness from anything else — a deposit you saw, an agent you created, a
policy you read — never name or count the steps, and never decide an order: the server already
chose it, and the app's setup bar names the same step from the same read.
Each turn
- Read the ladder. If
statusis battle-ready, say the account is set up and stop. - Take the step
nextnames. Say what it is in the step's own served sentence, then act on itsremedyby who performs it (actor):COMMANDER— you do it, with the player's go-ahead. Ask once, then turn to the skill that owns the act and follow that skill's own procedure to the end: thestrategy-authoringskill builds a strategy; theagent-managementskill creates an agent or resumes a paused one; theradar-deploymentskill puts an agent on Radar or Arena duty. A resume is the act to try, not a promise: if the owning skill reports the stop is still breached, offer its exits and do not repeat the resume.PLAYER— only the player can do it, in the app. It is a deposit, a signature, a payment or an API key. Say what it is and why it is next. On the web, the control that does it sits directly under your reply; elsewhere, tell the player where in the app it lives. Never ask for a key, a seed phrase or a signature in chat, and never say it is done until the ladder says so.PLATFORM— the platform does it. Say so. Account activation in particular is done by the player's signed-in web app, which also holds the retry if it fails.NONE— the step could not be read. Say its status is undetermined right now, never that it is done, and offer to check again.
- Re-read the ladder after any step completes, and continue from whatever it then serves.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
