Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00050 | $0.02331 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00020 | $0.00932 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00466 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00233 |
Grade A, and why
comfyui-node-lifecycle scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 346 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
ComfyUI Node Execution Lifecycle
Understanding the execution lifecycle helps build efficient, correct nodes.
Execution Flow Overview
1. Prompt received from frontend
2. Validation phase
+-- Look up each node class
+-- Call INPUT_TYPES() / define_schema() for input specs
+-- Validate connections and types
+-- Call validate_inputs() for each node
3. Build execution order (topological sort from output nodes)
4. For each node in order:
+-- Cache check (fingerprint_inputs)
+-- Input resolution (get upstream values)
+-- Lazy evaluation (check_lazy_status)
+-- Execute function
+-- Store outputs in cache
5. Return results to frontend
Execution Order
ComfyUI executes from output nodes backward:
- Identifies output nodes (
is_output_node=True) - Builds dependency graph
- Topological sort determines execution order
- Only nodes connected to output nodes execute
Cache Control: fingerprint_inputs (V3) / IS_CHANGED (V1)
Controls when a node re-executes vs uses cached results.
class RandomNode(io.ComfyNode):
@classmethod
def define_schema(cls):
return io.Schema(
node_id="RandomNode",
display_name="Random Value",
category="utils",
inputs=[
io.Float.Input("min_val", default=0.0),
io.Float.Input("max_val", default=1.0),
],
outputs=[io.Float.Output("FLOAT")],
)
@classmethod
def fingerprint_inputs(cls, min_val, max_val):
"""Return value compared to last run. Different value = re-execute."""
# Return unique value each time to always re-execute
import time
return time.time()
@classmethod
def execute(cls, min_val, max_val):
import random
return io.NodeOutput(random.uniform(min_val, max_val))
How caching works:
- Before execution,
fingerprint_inputs()is called with the same args asexecute() - Return value is compared to the previous run's return value
- If same -> skip execution, use cached output
- If different -> re-execute the node
- If
fingerprint_inputsis not defined -> cache based on input values
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

comfyui-node-lifecycle is a skill published in the GitHub repository sideshowroberto/vfx-agent-toolkit (16 stars, last pushed 22d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 50 tokens to every session and 2,331 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.

dcc-diagnostics
Infrastructure skill — DCC-agnostic observability primitives: capture screenshots, query audit logs, inspect tool performance metrics, and monitor process health. Works in any DCC environment (Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unreal, etc.) or standalone Python. Use for debugging any skill failure or verifying DCC state. Not…
qt-ui-inspector
Infrastructure skill — DCC-agnostic Qt UI introspection: list top-level windows, find widgets by name/class, describe widget properties, walk the widget tree, and poll for availability. Works in any DCC with a Qt binding (Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unreal, etc.). All tools are read-only and lazy-loaded.
comfyui-workflow-repair
A diagnostic and repair workflow for ComfyUI workflows, which are saved graphs of image-generation nodes and their connections. It checks for missing or outdated nodes, invalid links, and parameter problems, and can migrate workflows between versions.
comfyui-workflow-validator
A checker for ComfyUI workflows, which are sets of connected image-generation steps. It checks whether every node type used by a workflow is available in the current ComfyUI setup.
ue5-debug-validation
UE5.6/UE5.7 debugging and validation workflow for logs, asset checks, and regression triage. Use when requests involve troubleshooting why gameplay does not work, validating expected output, narrowing minimal repro, and producing concrete fix steps.
