Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00052 | $0.00406 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00021 | $0.00162 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00081 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00041 |
Grade A, and why
maya-scene scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Maya Scene Skill
Queries and modifies a live Maya session via the commandPort bridge on localhost:7001.
Prerequisites
- Maya is open with commandPort active (auto-started by
userSetup.mel) - Maya MCP bridge running (bundled at
connectors\maya\bridge\in vfx-agent-toolkit) - Claude Code MCP entry for
mayaconfigured
Common Operations
Query scene
import maya.cmds as cmds
print(cmds.ls(dag=True, long=True))
Create geometry
import maya.cmds as cmds
sphere = cmds.polySphere(radius=1, subdivisionsX=20, subdivisionsY=20, name='hero_geo')[0]
cmds.setAttr(f'{sphere}.translateY', 1.0)
Parent objects
import maya.cmds as cmds
cmds.parent('child_geo', 'parent_grp')
Export FBX
import maya.cmds as cmds
cmds.loadPlugin('fbxmaya', quiet=True)
cmds.select('hero_geo')
cmds.file(r'C:/exports/hero.fbx', exportSelected=True, type='FBX export', force=True)
Gotchas
- PyMEL is dead - always use
maya.cmdsormaya.api.OpenMaya as om2 - Long names - use
cmds.ls(long=True)to avoid name conflicts in complex scenes - Undo - wrap destructive operations in
cmds.undoInfo(openChunk=True)/closeChunk
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

maya-scene is a skill published in the GitHub repository sideshowroberto/vfx-agent-toolkit (16 stars, last pushed 22d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 52 tokens to every session and 406 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.

marketplace-publish-extension
Infrastructure skill — publish (register/update) an extension package to a marketplace catalog. Reads the extension's SKILL.md frontmatter, constructs a CatalogEntry, and upserts it into the target marketplace.json. Optionally commits and pushes when the catalog source is a git repository. Use after scaffolding an…
marketplace-create-extension
Infrastructure skill — scaffold a new marketplace extension package (SKILL.md + tools.yaml + scripts/) with MIT-0 licensing. Use when creating a publishable marketplace entry for any DCC host. Not for editing existing extensions or driving live DCC scenes — use domain skills for that.

Example skill — demonstrates full compatibility with the ClawHub/OpenClaw skill format. Use as a reference when creating skills for both the dcc-mcp-core ecosystem and ClawHub marketplace. Not intended for production use — this is an authoring reference only.
example-layered-skill
Example skill — reference implementation of the internal layered architecture pattern (Tools / Services / Utils) for complex skills with shared business logic.
