Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00050 $0.03324
Opus 5.5 $0.00020 $0.01330
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00665
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00332

Security

Grade A, and why

nuke-tiling-tool scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (scripts/auto_tile_processor_1k.py, scripts/auto_tile_processor_2k.py, scripts/auto_tile_processor.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Nuke Auto-Tiling Tool for ML Processing

Version: 1.0.0 Last Updated: 2026-01-21 Status: Production-ready Dependencies: Nuke 13.2v8+, auto_tile_processor.py

Purpose

Automatically tiles large images for processing through ML nodes (ViTMatte, etc.) that work best with smaller image sizes (1K-2K), then seamlessly blends the results back together using expression-based gradient masks.

When to Use This Skill

Trigger phrases:

  • "tile image for ML processing"
  • "split large image into tiles"
  • "process image through ViTMatte in tiles"
  • "auto-tile for machine learning"
  • "create tiling setup"

Use cases:

  • Processing large plates (4K, 5K, 8K) through ML nodes optimized for 1K-2K
  • ViTMatte alpha generation on high-resolution images
  • Any GPU-intensive node that performs better on smaller images
  • Avoiding memory issues with ML inference

What It Does

Automated Workflow

Input Image (e.g., 5760x5760)
    v
Dot distribution (horizontal row)
    v
Auto-calculate grid (e.g., 3x3 for 2K tiles)
    v
For each tile (vertical stack):
    Transform (translate to position)
    -> Reformat (crop to tile size)
    -> NoOp Placeholder (orange - swap for ML node)
    -> Expression (gradient mask -> mask channel)
    -> Premult (multiply by mask.a)
    -> InverseTransform (restore position)
    v
Merge all tiles (plus operation, rgba output)
    v
Final Reformat (back to original dimensions)
    v
Output (full resolution, seamless blending)

Key Features

  1. Auto-calculates grid dimensions

    • 5760x5760 with 2K tiles -> 3x3 grid
    • 8192x8192 with 2K tiles -> 5x5 grid
    • Non-square images supported
  2. Expression-based gradient masks

    • Smooth falloff at tile edges (no blur, preserves detail)
    • 128px overlap with automatic blending
    • Edge/corner tiles handled correctly
  3. Flexible tile sizes

    • 1K (1024x1024)
    • 2K (2048x2048)
  4. Clean node organization

    • Horizontal tile layout (Nuke-standard)
    • Vertical node stacks per tile
    • Clear naming (Transform_Tile_X_Y, etc.)
    • Orange NoOp placeholders for ML node insertion
    • Dynamic positioning from input node location

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

nuke-tiling-tool is a skill published in the GitHub repository sideshowroberto/vfx-agent-toolkit (16 stars, last pushed 22d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 50 tokens to every session and 3,324 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
