Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
previs-anchor-keyframes scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 164 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Previs Anchor Keyframes
Reference-guided video models (Seedance 2.0 and similar) stay dramatically closer to a CG previs when you feed them photoreal ANCHOR KEYFRAMES: still images generated from previs frames at key story beats, supplied as image references alongside the driving video. This skill is the production recipe for building anchors that actually match the CG.
The pipeline: previs render (driving video) -> image-model edits of selected previs frames (anchors) -> video model in reference mode (driving video + anchors + prompt).
1. Shade the previs for AI readability
Image and video models follow the CG far better when they can read its form:
- Wireframe-over-clay shading on the CG subjects beats flat silhouettes. A black or unlit subject only constrains outline - the model invents form, orientation and lighting. Wireframe lines communicate topology and pose.
- Tint the subjects a flat saturated color (e.g. red) when they risk blending into the environment (grey subjects on concrete). Then name that color in the prompt: "replace the red CG horse with..." - it gives the model an unambiguous edit target.
- Keep the environment photoreal if you have it (projected plate or stills); the contrast between "obviously CG subject" and "finished environment" focuses the edit.
2. Pick anchor frames at event beats
- Anchor at each subject's first CLEAN appearance (fully in frame), plus the moments the composition changes (second subject enters, action peaks).
- The shot's first frame works as a no-cost anchor if it is empty of subjects: use the raw plate/render directly - it pixel-locks the environment.
- Never anchor on a frame where a subject is partially out of frame. Image models refuse half-objects at frame edges and "complete" them into full subjects in the wrong place - repeatedly, regardless of prompt language. Slide to the nearest fully-entered frame instead.
3. Build an action-pose reference set
The single biggest cause of generations ignoring the CG pose: reference images whose pose or orientation contradicts the shot action. One standing reference will pull every generation toward standing, even over an obviously mid-stride CG input.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

previs-anchor-keyframes is a skill published in the GitHub repository sideshowroberto/vfx-agent-toolkit (16 stars, last pushed 22d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 1,876 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
