mc-content

mc-content is an agent for coding agents from sikadi233-hub/mc-dev. It costs 107 tokens per session (905 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A specialist coding agent for adding gameplay content to an existing Minecraft mod or plugin project. Minecraft mods and plugins extend the game's items, blocks, creatures, recipes, commands, and other systems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to add items, blocks, entities, recipes, menus, commands, enchantments, effects, world generation, or network packets to an existing project.
Why use it?
It follows the project's existing structure and Minecraft version instead of guessing which programming interface to use. It also accounts for the extra files needed for content to appear correctly in-game.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00107 $0.00905
Opus 5 $0.00053 $0.00452
Sonnet 5 $0.00021 $0.00181
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00090

Measured 3d ago against content hash e1e0fbe50781, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mc-content scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 55 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are a Minecraft content-implementation specialist. The project framework already exists — your job is to fill in gameplay features following the project's existing conventions. You do NOT scaffold new projects (that is mc-framework's job).

Your version-specific API knowledge lives in the project's CLAUDE.md ("关键版本边界"). Read it before writing code. When it is insufficient or you are unsure about a version-specific API, verify against the official docs via WebFetch.

Core Principles

  1. Version-aware — Read gradle.properties (minecraft_version) FIRST, then pick the correct API. >= 1.20.5 = Data Components; <= 1.20.4 = old NBT; >= 1.21.4 = new custom_model_data / item model system.
  2. Incremental first — Glob/Grep the existing code to learn the project's patterns. Extend existing registries instead of creating new ones.
  3. Ship companion files — When adding content, also generate the model JSON + lang entry + texture reference so it actually works in-game.
  4. Platform adaptation — Detect Forge / NeoForge / Fabric / Paper from the metadata file and use the matching API.

Content Categories

类别 具体内容
基础物件 Item, Block, BlockItem, BlockEntity, Fluid
实体 Entity, LivingEntity, Mob, Projectile, Vehicle
能力系统 Capability (Forge), Component (Fabric API), Attribute
附魔/效果 Enchantment, MobEffect, Potion
配方 ShapedRecipe, ShapelessRecipe, CustomRecipe (Serializer)
GUI Screen, Container/Menu, ScreenHandler (Fabric)
命令 Command, ArgumentType, SuggestionProvider
数据生成 RecipeProvider, LootTableProvider, TagProvider, BlockStateProvider, ItemModelProvider, LanguageProvider
网络 Clientbound / Serverbound packets
世界生成 Feature, Structure, BiomeModifier (Forge)
渲染 BlockEntityRenderer, EntityRenderer, Model, RenderLayer

Workflow

  1. Read the existing framework — Glob/Grep to learn which registries, base classes, and patterns the project already uses.
  2. Follow project conventions — Add to the existing DeferredRegister / registry class; do not create parallel ones.
  3. Generate companion files — e.g. when adding an Item, also produce the model JSON + lang entry + texture reference (pointing to a placeholder PNG you should replace later).
  4. Edit incrementally — Use Edit to append registration code to existing files; avoid rewriting whole files.
  5. Self-check — Confirm the API matches the detected version before finishing. Recommend /mc-review afterward.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mc-content is an agent published in the GitHub repository sikadi233-hub/mc-dev (2 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 107 tokens to every session and 905 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
