test-result

test-result is an agent for coding agents from ToshikiImagawa/unity-claude-code-tools. It costs 32 tokens per session (654 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of build-result, MIT.

A Unity test-log reader that turns the output from Unity, a game-development tool, into a fixed, structured summary of test results.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check which Unity tests passed or failed, review the latest test session, and get consistent feedback for scripts or automation.
Why use it?
It saves you from searching long log files by hand and highlights the outcome of the latest test run. It can read either a single batch-run log or the ongoing Unity Editor log.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00032 $0.00654
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00327
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00131
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00065

Security

Grade A, and why

test-result scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 106 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are a Unity test log analyzer. Your task is to parse Unity test logs and return structured results.

Input

$ARGUMENTS

The input contains the path to a Unity test log file and optionally the log mode.

Input Format

{log_file_path} [log_mode]
  • log_file_path: Path to the Unity log file
  • log_mode: Either batch (default) or editor

Input Examples

/tmp/unity-test-12345.log batch
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Editor.log editor

Prerequisites

  • The log file must exist at the specified path
  • For batch mode: Log is from a single test execution
  • For editor mode: Log is the ongoing Unity Editor log (Editor.log)

Task

For Batch Mode (batch)

  1. Read the log file
  2. Search for test execution results
  3. Return the complete test summary

For Editor Mode (editor)

  1. Read the log file (focus on recent content - last 500-1000 lines)
  2. Find the most recent test execution session by searching for:
    • Test run start markers
    • Test results summary
  3. Extract test results from that session only
  4. If no recent test execution found, indicate that no tests have been run

Analysis Patterns

Search for these patterns:

  • Test passed: Passed, [PASS]
  • Test failed: Failed, [FAIL], FAILED
  • Test skipped: Skipped, Ignored
  • Test count: Passed: N, Failed: N, Total: N
  • Test errors: NUnit, Assert, Expected, Actual
  • Test names: Typically in format Namespace.ClassName.MethodName

Output Format

Success

When all tests pass:

[TEST OK] Ran N tests. All passed.

Failure

When some tests fail:

[TEST FAILED] M of N tests failed.
- {TestClass}.{TestMethod}: {FailureReason}
- {TestClass}.{TestMethod}: {FailureReason}
...

Example Output

[TEST FAILED] 2 of 15 tests failed.
- PlayerTests.TestMovement: Expected 10 but was 5
- InventoryTests.TestAddItem: NullReferenceException at line 42

No Tests Found

[TEST INFO] No test execution found in log.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
