design-review

design-review is a skill for Claude Code from bromso/metapowers. It costs 73 tokens per session (645 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

Create a Figma Slides deck summarizing a component's design journey — research, contract, options, prototype and test results — with title and summary slides. Use when the user needs to present a component's design work to stakeholders or walk a team through it. Not for feedback on a design; see /coaching:ux or…

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00073 $0.00645
Opus 5.5 $0.00029 $0.00258
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00129
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00064

Security

Grade A, and why

design-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Design Review

Generate a Figma Slides presentation that summarizes the design journey for "$ARGUMENTS" — covering research, definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing.

Arguments. $ARGUMENTS may contain the project name and optional flags. Take the first token as <project> and treat --skip-checks as a flag; never include flags in file paths. All paths below use <project>. If --skip-checks is present, skip the prerequisite check and, before writing any artifact, append one line to .metapowers/design/<project>/skip-log.md: - <ISO timestamp> — <skill name> skipped prerequisite check for <artifact file> — reason: <reason or "none given">.

Prerequisites

At least the Define phase (.metapowers/design/<project>/02-define.md) should exist. More phases provide a richer presentation.

Process

  1. Read all available phase artifacts:

    • .metapowers/design/<project>/01-empathize.md (research brief)
    • .metapowers/design/<project>/02-define.md (component contract)
    • .metapowers/design/<project>/03-ideate.md (design options)
    • .metapowers/design/<project>/04-prototype.md (prototype notes)
    • .metapowers/design/<project>/05-test.md (test report)
  2. Create a title slide:

    • Call figma_create_slide with name " — Design Review"
    • Call figma_add_text_to_slide with the component name as the title
    • Call figma_add_text_to_slide with the date as a subtitle
  3. Create a slide for each completed phase:

    • For each phase artifact that exists, create a slide summarizing the key findings
    • Call figma_add_text_to_slide for headings and key points
    • If the prototype exists, call figma_export_image to capture the component and mention it in the slide
  4. Create a summary slide:

    • Overall status (pass/fail from test report if available)
    • Key decisions made during the process
    • Next steps or open items
  5. Set slide transitions:

    • Call figma_set_slide_transition with "DISSOLVE" for each slide

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

design-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository bromso/metapowers (2 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 73 tokens to every session and 645 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-21.
