wave6-with-disabled-query-filter

wave6-with-disabled-query-filter is a skill for Claude Code from dyCuong03/unity-agent-team. It costs 37 tokens per session (751 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Unity ECS query filter that selects entities whose enableable component exists but is turned off. Enableable components let an entity be included or excluded from queries without adding or removing the component.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for states such as units not yet activated or objects that are currently available rather than in use.
Why use it?
It lets systems handle inactive entities separately from active ones, without confusing a disabled component with a missing component.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00037 $0.00751
Opus 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00300
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00150
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00075

Security

Grade A, and why

wave6-with-disabled-query-filter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

WithDisabled Query Filter

Intent

Query only entities where a specific IEnableableComponent is present but currently disabled using .WithDisabled(), enabling systems to act specifically on inactive populations.

Use When

  • Logic must act only on entities in the "inactive" state (balls not being carried, units not yet activated)
  • Multi-phase state filtering where different systems handle active vs inactive populations separately

Avoid When

  • Component may be absent entirely — WithDisabled requires component to be present; use WithNone only when component absence is the correct filter

Senior Pattern

// Query filter semantics for IEnableableComponent:
// WithAll<T>()     — present AND enabled
// WithDisabled<T>()— present AND disabled
// WithNone<T>()    — absent entirely (structural)
// WithPresent<T>() — present regardless of bit (enabled OR disabled)
// IgnoreComponentEnabledState — all entities regardless of bit

// Foreach — find available (not-carried) balls:
foreach (var (transform, entity) in
    SystemAPI.Query<RefRO<LocalTransform>>()
             .WithAll<Ball>()
             .WithDisabled<Carry>()
             .WithEntityAccess())
{
    // ball is present and NOT being carried — can be picked up
}

// IJobEntity form:
[WithAll(typeof(Ball))]
[WithDisabled(typeof(Carry))]
[BurstCompile]
public partial struct FindAvailableBallsJob : IJobEntity
{
    [BurstCompile]
    public void Execute(Entity entity, in LocalTransform transform)
    {
        // process available balls
    }
}

// IJobChunk form — SetChangedVersionFilter equivalent:
query = state.GetEntityQuery(
    ComponentType.ReadOnly<Ball>(),
    ComponentType.Disabled<Carry>());   // Disabled<T> is the ComponentType variant

Anti-Patterns

  • Using WithNone instead of WithDisabled — WithNone excludes entities with the component entirely (both enabled and disabled); completely wrong semantics for "present but inactive".
  • Using WithAll and expecting to see disabled entities — WithAll on an IEnableableComponent filters to enabled-only.
  • Using IgnoreComponentEnabledState when only the disabled population is needed — processes all entities; less efficient than WithDisabled.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

wave6-with-disabled-query-filter is a skill published in the GitHub repository dyCuong03/unity-agent-team (7 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 37 tokens to every session and 751 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-02.
