startup-launch-playbook

startup-launch-playbook is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Gingiris-1031/gingiris-skills. It costs 58 tokens per session (1,019 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A practical guide for early-stage startups trying to reach their first 1,000 users. It covers testing whether people want the product, finding the first users, founder-led sales, useful metrics, and growth without paid advertising.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to validate an MVP, plan outreach for the first 10, 100, or 1,000 users, write cold-sales messages, choose early metrics, and plan low-budget growth.
Why use it?
It gives founders a staged way to move from an early product to initial traction instead of choosing channels or metrics without a plan. It also distinguishes business products from consumer products when selecting measures and outreach methods.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00058 $0.01019
Opus 5 $0.00029 $0.00509
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00204
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00102

Security

Grade A, and why

startup-launch-playbook scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Early-Stage Startup Launch — Pre-Seed to First 1000 Users

📦 Install

clawhub install startup-launch-playbook

What you get after installing:

  • MVP validation framework (test demand before you scale)
  • First 10 → 100 → 1000 users channel playbook
  • Founder-led sales templates for cold outreach with zero brand

A tactical guide for founders who've built something and need their first real users.

  • MVP validation: How to test demand before you scale
  • First 10 → 100 → 1000 users: Channel playbook for each stage
  • Founder-led sales: Templates for cold outreach when you have zero brand
  • Traction metrics: What to measure at pre-seed vs seed stage
  • Bootstrapping tactics: Growth without paid ads or VC money

First 1000 Users on a Founder Budget (2026 benchmarks)

What each budget tier realistically returns

  • ~$1K: a few hundred signups — small YouTube ad tests + ~20 niche subreddits + a couple hundred topic groups worked with a DM workflow. This is the pre-seed default recipe.
  • ~$5K: enough to reach ~1,800 votes in 24h — but a campaign that did exactly that had its daily #1 revoked in a post-hoc vote sweep. Read the next rule before spending it there.
  • $10–20K: about a million impressions and low-four-figure signups; also the observed ballpark for a five-person team to land a 10K-star open-source launch.

The pre-seed Product Hunt rule

Under ~$5K, stay off the leaderboard. Measured conversion explains why: PH exposure turns into upvotes at about 1%, while Reddit posts for an open-source tool turn exposure into stars at 5–8%. Ten micro-creators on Twitter will beat a PH push on both reach and registrations at identical cost. Collect the PH badge later, when it's cheap relative to your budget.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
