cgs-standards-tests

cgs-standards-tests is a skill for Claude Code from merlinhu1/codex-game-studio. It costs 41 tokens per session (486 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of rules for checking game tests, from small code checks and combined-system checks to engine smoke tests, playtests, and regression checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review test coverage, identify missing checks, report violations, and define verification for game code, scenes, assets, and data.
Why use it?
It helps teams choose suitable test coverage and record evidence that game changes still work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00041 $0.00486
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00243
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00097
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00049

Security

Grade A, and why

cgs-standards-tests scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Codex Game Studio Test Standards

Use this skill for test standards work in Template Game.

Objective

unit, integration, engine smoke, playtest, and regression coverage

Inputs

  • AGENTS.md
  • .codex/studio.json
  • task-relevant source, tests, docs, or assets

Arguments

  • Objective or user request.
  • Target files, scenes, assets, or docs.
  • Constraints, deadlines, acceptance criteria, and verification command when known.

Procedure

  1. Read the requested files and identify the test standards rule being applied.
  2. Check unit, integration, engine smoke, playtest, and regression coverage.
  3. Report violations with file paths, impact, and the smallest safe fix.

Output Contract

  • Rule applied
  • Files checked
  • Violations
  • Verification

Quality Gates

  • Narrow Test
  • Suite
  • Evidence
  • Scope remains bounded to the current task and project stage.
  • Report labels unverified assumptions separately from evidence.

Decision Gates

  • Continue only when the expected output can be verified or clearly labeled as a plan.
  • Escalate to producer or qa-playtester when scope, ownership, or acceptance evidence is ambiguous.
  • Stop before broad rewrites, generated prompt mirrors, or hidden lifecycle behavior.

Handoff

Report changed files, verification evidence, remaining risks, and the next owner or decision. Do not imply hidden hooks or autonomous background work.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
