Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00035 | $0.01120 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00017 | $0.00560 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00007 | $0.00224 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00112 |
Grade A, and why
industry-objection-playbook scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 41 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Industry Objection Playbook
When to use
A prospect says: "You've never worked in our industry before." You're trying to enter a new vertical but worry you'll be perceived as an outsider. A competitor points out you lack "industry experience." You're a consultant with proven chops in one industry trying to apply them to another. You want to overcome the "you need to be from our world" objection without giving up.
The framework
-
Reframe industry experience as a potential liability. Industries often hide bad practices because "that's how we do it here." Ask: What are the worst practices in your industry that insiders assume are unavoidable? A consultant with no industry baggage can often see what insiders can't. Position this as permission to ask "stupid questions" that unlocking value.
-
Lead with cross-industry pattern recognition. "I've solved this exact problem in three other industries. Here's what I noticed: the core issue isn't your industry mechanics, it's [underlying pattern]. Once we fix that, your industry-specific tactics get way more effective." Back this up with a specific example from a different vertical.
-
Show methodology, not just results. Industry insiders trust process. Show your diagnostic framework, your problem-solving approach, your measurement discipline. If your methodology is sound, it transfers across industries. If it's fluffy, industry experience won't save you anyway. Make the methodology audible in how you describe past work.
-
Cite specific proof from outside the industry. "Here's a fractional COO role I did at a healthcare SaaS company. We redesigned their ops from founder-dependent to scalable. This is the same restructure your company needs, and the principles transfer." Be explicit that the example is from a different world. That's the point.
-
Offer a pilot or lower-stakes entry. "Let's do a 30-day diagnostic ($5k) before committing to a 6-month engagement. You'll get clarity on whether I'm seeing your core problem correctly, and you'll reduce your risk of bringing in someone new to your industry." Low-risk entry sidesteps the industry objection and lets competence prove itself.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

industry-objection-playbook is a skill published in the GitHub repository peterod99/consultant-skills (2 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 35 tokens to every session and 1,120 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
