rpg-campaign-conductor

rpg-campaign-conductor is a skill for Claude Code from vstrapasson/rpg-marketplace. It costs 264 tokens per session (2,652 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An interactive coordinator for building a complete tabletop RPG campaign from separate worldbuilding tools. It sequences the creation of the campaign foundation, regions, cities, factions, locations, characters, artifacts, and clue maps while carrying important details between them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as a guided partner for planning and creating a campaign from its central idea through its connected setting, characters, objects, and clues.
Why use it?
It keeps the campaign coherent as different parts are created, reducing the chance that later material forgets or contradicts earlier decisions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00264 $0.02652
Opus 5 $0.00132 $0.01326
Sonnet 5 $0.00053 $0.00530
Haiku 4.5 $0.00026 $0.00265

Security

Grade A, and why

rpg-campaign-conductor scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

RPG Campaign Conductor — the kit's showrunner

What this skill is for

This is the orchestrator of the RPG master skillkit — the layer that ties the individual creator skills into one coherent campaign build. The creator skills each make one thing (a campaign spine, a region, a city, a faction, a location, an NPC, a clue map). This skill is the conductor: it decides what to build and when, runs each creator skill in the right order, carries the handoffs and the campaign's identity between them, and keeps the whole thing consistent — so the user experiences building a campaign, not operating seven separate tools.

It is interactive and co-creation-first. It does not replace the creator skills' interviews — it sequences them and holds the through-line. Think of it as the GM's planning partner who remembers everything and always knows the sensible next move.

The core idea — the conductor is the memory between skills

Each creator skill is stateless: it makes its thing and ends. The risk in running them one by one is drift — the city forgets the campaign's central truth; the faction's tone slips; a location names a deity the foundation never chose. The conductor exists to prevent that. Its bedrock is continuity:

  1. A single campaign bible (one Markdown file) is the persistent memory — the central truth, tone, established proper names, the layer-by-layer status, and the open handoffs. Every creator skill reads from it and writes back to it. This is what lets a clean context pick up a campaign without losing the thread.
  2. Handoffs are carried, not dropped. When a creator skill ends with off-stage notes ("→ ready for rpg-city-creator: [the capital]"), the conductor records them in the bible and feeds the right one as input to the next skill.
  3. Identity is injected downward. Every time the conductor invokes a creator skill, it passes the campaign's truth, tone, and relevant established names, so the new artifact coheres with everything before it.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
