wfbcargo_spawn_mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/drop-in-games/SKILL.md

drop-in-games is a skill for Claude Code from wfbcargo/wfbcargo_spawn_mcp. It costs 166 tokens per session (3,307 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A design guide for making games that people can start quickly, understand by playing, and leave and revisit without losing progress. It is aimed at small, social games that work alone and with a group.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to shape or review a game's concept, especially for community platforms, short sessions, parties, and games joined from a link.
Why use it?
It helps creators avoid concepts that are confusing or demand a long commitment before the fun begins. It provides questions for checking the game's first moments and return experience.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00166 $0.03307
Opus 5.5 $0.00066 $0.01323
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00033 $0.00661
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00331

Measured 1mo ago against content hash 6a10168ae5f1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

drop-in-games scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 172 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Drop-in games on Spawn

A drop-in game is one a stranger clicks into, understands by doing, plays for two minutes or twenty, walks out of through a portal with their friends, and returns to without having lost anything. It is the shape of most breakout games on community platforms, and it is the shape that suits Spawn: a weekly jam judged in the first few minutes of play, worlds joined from a link on a phone, and a social layer — chat, parties, portals — that moves groups from game to game.

This is a lens, not a genre and not a rule. Creators build what they want. Use this skill to choose a concept when nobody has, and otherwise to find the drop-in version of what the creator asked for: a sprawling RPG still benefits from a playable first ten seconds and from not losing progress on a closed tab.

The social baseline (Spawn owns chat; parties stay together; every game has a door out) is not part of this optional lens — it applies to every game and is in spawn_getting_started. This skill assumes it and builds on it.

The shape, in six tests

A concept passes when every answer is yes. Ask them before the first file, and again at review.

# Test Passes when Fails when
1 Acts in 3 seconds Arrival puts a body in the world with the core verb usable; the game explains itself by being played within 30 s Title screen, "press start", a menu, a text tutorial, a wait for other players
2 One verb, one space The whole game is one sentence ("tag the others before the lava rises") in one room-sized area the camera can hold Several systems to learn, a map that needs travel or a minimap
3 Joins any time A player arriving mid-round plays at once or watches from a safe spot with a visible "next round in N s" Late joiners locked out, or dropped into a running match mid-danger
4 Leaves any time A leaver costs nobody their round and loses nothing earned; returning shows their progress, grown if time passed A round that stalls on a missing player; progress that lived only in memory
5 Solo-viable, better together One player has a real game (score chase, ghost, simple rule-driven hazards); goals scale with headcount; friends change it "Waiting for 4 players"; a multiplayer game where players never have to notice each other
6 Cheap to run Timers, discrete events, and state written when it changes; any "enemy" is a rule or a timer Swarms of pathfinding AI, synced rigid-body piles, per-tick writes, per-tick SQL

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
