A guide for rebuilding ScholarAIO's search indexes after its data or metadata changes. A full-text index helps find matching words, while a semantic index helps find text with similar meaning.

Use it to update or rebuild full-text indexes, evidence-fragment indexes, and semantic vector indexes. It can also run the combined reindexing pipeline.

It prevents search results from becoming stale after the underlying records change. It also distinguishes updating an index incrementally from rebuilding it from scratch.
