claude-buddy

claude-buddy is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from autonomous-ai/autonomous-os. It costs 18 tokens per session (176 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A pointer to a platform-level skill that lets Claude approval prompts be handled through voice and shows Claude activity.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use the platform skill when working with the on-device Claude voice interaction and activity display. This entry itself is not the source of that behaviour.
Why use it?
The original add-on no longer contains the implementation, so this entry directs users to its current location.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00018 $0.00176
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00088
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00035
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00018

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-buddy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Moved

The on-device agent skill that turns Claude approval prompts into a voice interaction (and surfaces Claude activity) is now a platform skill so it ships to devices through the standard skill pipeline:

  • Source of truth: skills/claude-buddy/SKILL.md (repo root)
  • Registered in system/skills/skills.go (Catalog + Capabilityaudio) and scripts/provision/setup.sh (skill_caps)
  • Deployed via scripts/release/upload-skills.sh (OTA) → loaded by the agent runtime (openclaw/skill_watcher)

This file is kept only as a pointer; do not edit skill behavior here.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
