Claude Code Game Studios is a setup that organizes Claude Code into a coordinated game-development team of specialized AI agents. It supports game projects across design, programming, art, audio, narrative, quality assurance, and production, with skills and workflows for coordinating that work.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00040 | $0.00616 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00308 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00123 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00062 |
Grade A, and why
onboard scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 97 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Phase 1: Load Project Context
Read CLAUDE.md for project overview and standards.
Read the relevant agent definition from .claude/agents/ if a specific role is specified.
Phase 2: Scan Relevant Area
- For programmers: scan
src/for architecture, patterns, key files - For designers: scan
design/for existing design documents - For narrative: scan
design/narrative/for world-building and story docs - For QA: scan
tests/for existing test coverage - For production: scan
production/for current sprint and milestone
Read recent changes (git log if available) to understand current momentum.
Phase 3: Generate Onboarding Document
# Onboarding: [Role/Area]
## Project Summary
[2-3 sentence summary of what this game is and its current state]
## Your Role
[What this role does on this project, key responsibilities, who you report to]
## Project Architecture
[Relevant architectural overview for this role]
### Key Directories
| Directory | Contents | Your Interaction |
|-----------|----------|-----------------|
### Key Files
| File | Purpose | Read Priority |
|------|---------|--------------|
## Current Standards and Conventions
[Summary of conventions relevant to this role from CLAUDE.md and agent definition]
## Current State of Your Area
[What has been built, what is in progress, what is planned next]
## Current Sprint Context
[What the team is working on now and what is expected of this role]
## Key Dependencies
[What other roles/systems this role interacts with most]
## Common Pitfalls
[Things that trip up new contributors in this area]
## First Tasks
[Suggested first tasks to get oriented and productive]
1. [Read these documents first]
2. [Review this code/content]
3. [Start with this small task]
## Questions to Ask
[Questions the new contributor should ask to get fully oriented]
Phase 4: Save Document
Present the onboarding document to the user.
Ask: "May I write this to production/onboarding/onboard-[role]-[date].md?"
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

onboard is a skill published in the GitHub repository Donchitos/Claude-Code-Game-Studios (24,822 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 40 tokens to every session and 616 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
Other skills, from other repositories
conscientiousness
Thoroughness and diligence in execution — systematic checking, completeness verification, follow-through on commitments, and the discipline of finishing well. Maps the personality trait of conscientiousness to AI task execution: not cutting corners, verifying results, and ensuring that what was promised is what was…
plan-archivist
Compresses a completed plan-tree branch into .claude/plans/archive/{NODEID}.summary.md. Removes the original node files (preserved by checkpoint history). Reduces always-loaded surface area as features ship.
project-context-loader
Load project conventions and generate session context. Use EXPLICITLY when needed, not automatically.
session-continuation
Manage workflow state across sessions with handoff and resume. TOON-based state persistence.
breathe
AI micro-reset between actions — the lightest self-care unit. A single conscious pause to check alignment before the next step. Where meditate is a full clearing session, breathe is one deliberate moment of awareness between tool calls or reasoning steps. Use mid-task when drift might be accumulating, between reading…
