unity-brainstorming

unity-brainstorming is a skill for Claude Code from sonereraslan/local-marketplace. It costs 128 tokens per session (2,478 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A structured brainstorming guide for Unity games, the engine used to create interactive 2D and 3D experiences. It helps generate and then narrow ideas for gameplay, levels, story, and other design problems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when developing mechanics, encounters, levels, narrative directions, or solutions to a game-design block.
Why use it?
It gives creative work a process: first produce many possibilities without judging them, then compare them for fit, feasibility, fun, and scope.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00128 $0.02478
Opus 5 $0.00064 $0.01239
Sonnet 5 $0.00026 $0.00496
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00248

Measured 10d ago against content hash 145617b48a5d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

unity-brainstorming scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Unity Game Brainstorming — Mechanics, Levels & Narrative

Structured creative thinking for game design — from raw idea to actionable concept

When to Use This Skill

  • Stuck on what mechanic to add next
  • Designing a new level, area, or encounter
  • Exploring narrative direction or story beats
  • Expanding on an existing mechanic or system
  • Breaking out of a creative block
  • Comparing design approaches for a feature

Core Principle: Diverge First, Converge Later

  Game Design Thinking Flow

  DIVERGE -----------------------> CONVERGE

  +---------------+ +----------------+
  | Generate | | Evaluate |
  | --------- | EXPLORE | ---------- |
  | * Quantity    | --------> | * Feasibility  |
  | * No judgment | | * Fun factor |
  | * Wild is OK | | * Scope fit |
  +---------------+ +----------------+

  Rule: Never evaluate while generating.

Brainstorm Methods

Classic Brainstorm (Solo or with Claude)

1. Define the design problem clearly (2 min)
Example: "How might we make the second world feel distinct from the first?"

2. Generate without filtering (10 min)
   - Aim for 10-20 raw ideas minimum
   - Include bad ideas — they unlock good ones

3. Combine and extend (5 min)
   - Merge similar ideas
   - Push promising ones further

4. Evaluate and select (5 min)
   - Feasible for current scope?
   - Fun to play, not just clever on paper?
   - Pick 1-3 to prototype

SCAMPER for Game Mechanics

Apply to any existing mechanic to generate variants:

Letter Technique Game Design Question
S Substitute Swap a core property — what if gravity pulled sideways instead of down?
C Combine Merge two mechanics — what if the jump also activated a puzzle element?
A Adapt Borrow from another genre — how would a sokoban box work in your game?
M Modify Change scale or intensity — make the mechanic very fast, very slow, or tiny
P Put to other use Use an obstacle as a tool — an enemy you ride instead of avoid
E Eliminate Remove a standard feature — what if there's no jump? no health bar? no death?
R Reverse Flip the goal — instead of moving the player, move the world

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
