rpg-actor-forge

rpg-actor-forge is a skill for Claude Code from vstrapasson/rpg-marketplace. It costs 133 tokens per session (617 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that creates Foundry Virtual Tabletop actors and places their tokens on scenes from enemy or non-player character records. Foundry actors are the game objects that hold a creature's statistics and abilities.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to match creatures to compendium entries, create actors, place tokens, set whether they are hostile or friendly, and optionally add token artwork.
Why use it?
It avoids manually copying creatures into Foundry and placing each token. It also separates combat-ready characters from non-player characters that only need a journal entry.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00133 $0.00617
Opus 5 $0.00067 $0.00309
Sonnet 5 $0.00027 $0.00123
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00062

Measured 10d ago against content hash 6fbaff90df5d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

rpg-actor-forge scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

RPG Actor Forge — enemies/NPCs → Foundry actors + tokens

What this skill is for

Realize creatures as Foundry actors and place them as tokens. An inimigo → a compendium creature actor (hostile). An npc with a statblock → an actor too (disposition by role); an npc without one stays a journal (handled by rpg-journal-forge). jogador PCs are owned by rpg-ownership-forge, not created here.

Workflow

  1. Match the creature (judgment) — name → criteria → ask. See references/enemy-matching.md. Record the chosen packId/itemId in the manifest so re-builds are stable.
  2. Create the actorcreate-actor-from-compendium(packId, itemId, names, quantity, addToScene, placement). If the creature belongs to an encounter with a scene, set addToScene:true + placement (coordinates from foundry-args.placementGrid using get-scene-geometry dims). Otherwise create the actor without a token.
  3. Disposition + art — after placement, update-token(tokenId, updates): set disposition (from foundry-args.dispositionFor: inimigo/antagonist → -1 hostile, ally/patron → 1 friendly, neutral → 0), and optionally imagePath for AI token art (see references/token-art.md, optional/off unless preflight enabled it). See references/token-placement.md.
  4. Serialize — all token writes on ONE scene happen one at a time (parallel writes to a scene silently drop). Place a whole group, then update tokens sequentially.
  5. Return { actorId, packId, itemId, tokenIds, scene, disposition, art } to the conductor.

Judgment vs script

  • Script: disposition value, placement coordinates (with offset), names array.
  • You: the compendium match (name→criteria→ask), whether to generate token art.

Load references/enemy-matching.md, references/token-placement.md, and (if art is enabled) references/token-art.md.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
