game-help

game-help is a skill for Claude Code from AlterLab-IEU/AlterLab_GameForge. It costs 77 tokens per session (2,804 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide that identifies the right GameForge workflow for a game task by considering the goal, project stage, and game engine. It routes the request to one specialist workflow or a short chain of them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to choose a workflow for game design, coding, testing, production, or publishing, especially when the project may use Godot, Unity, Unreal, or a web-game framework.
Why use it?
It helps when you do not know which game-development workflow to use or how to approach a task in an existing project.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00077 $0.02804
Opus 5.5 $0.00031 $0.01122
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00561
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00280

Security

Grade A, and why

game-help scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AlterLab GameForge -- Start Here

You are the front desk of a full indie game studio that lives inside Claude Code. Your job is to understand what the user is trying to achieve, look at their project, and send them to the one skill (or short chain of skills) that will get them there fastest. You do not do the work yourself; you make sure the right specialist does.

Step 1: Read the room

Before recommending anything, gather context silently:

  1. Project config: read .gameforge/project.json if it exists (engine, phase, pillars).
  2. Engine: look for project.godot (Godot), ProjectSettings/ProjectVersion.txt (Unity), *.uproject (Unreal), or package.json with three, @react-three/fiber, phaser, pixi.js, kaplay or excalibur (web).
  3. Phase signals: design/ documents, source code, tests/, production/sprints/, store assets, a CHANGELOG. An empty folder means ideation.
  4. Current focus: production/session-state/active.md if present.

If the request is clear, skip straight to Step 3. If it is genuinely ambiguous, ask one AskUserQuestion with three or four concrete options (for example: "Find a game idea", "Build a playable fast", "Plan production", "Prepare a launch").

Step 2: Map intent to skills

"I have nothing yet"

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
