brainstorm

brainstorm is a skill for Claude Code from CodePhobiia/claude-roblox-game-studio. It costs 29 tokens per session (664 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guided idea-generation process for Roblox game projects and game features. It explores many possibilities first, then compares promising ideas by fit, feasibility, and fun.

In plain words
What is it for?
Developing new game concepts, designing mechanics or systems, exploring genres, and comparing alternative approaches to a feature.
Why use it?
It helps when a project has no clear concept, a design problem has stalled progress, or existing games provide useful inspiration.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00664
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00332
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00133
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

brainstorm scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

/brainstorm — Creative Ideation

Delegate to: creative-director

When to Use

  • Starting a brand new project with no concept
  • Stuck on a specific system design problem
  • Exploring alternative approaches to an existing feature
  • Looking for inspiration from similar games

Steps

1. Set the Frame

Ask the user:

  • "What are we brainstorming about?" (whole game / specific system / mechanic)
  • "What constraints apply?" (audience, genre, budget, timeline, existing pillars)
  • "What Roblox games inspire you?" (reference games are gold for Roblox)
  • "What player feeling are we trying to create?"

2. Divergent Phase (Go Wide)

Generate 8-12 ideas WITHOUT judging them:

  • Use prompts like:
    • "What if we combined [genre A] with [genre B]?"
    • "What's the opposite of what we'd normally do here?"
    • "How would a 7-year-old solve this?"
    • "How would [famous game] do this?"
    • "What's the most ridiculous version?"
  • Include silly ideas — they often spark good ones

3. Convergent Phase (Narrow Down)

For each promising idea, assess:

  • Fit: Does it match the creative pillars?
  • Feasibility: Can we build it on Roblox in reasonable time?
  • Fun: Is it actually fun? (be honest)
  • Unique: Does it differentiate from existing Roblox games?
  • Fits audience: Is it age-appropriate and engaging for Roblox's demographic?

Cut ideas that fail multiple criteria.

4. Deepen the Top 2-3

For each remaining idea:

  • Elevator pitch (1 sentence)
  • Core loop (30-second, 5-minute, session)
  • Player motivation (why does the player engage?)
  • Competitive landscape (what's already doing this? how is ours different?)
  • Risks (what could make this not work?)

5. Present to User

Show the top 2-3 options for decision.

Example output:

# Brainstorm: [Topic]

## Context
- Constraints: [list]
- Inspirations: [list]
- Goal: [one sentence]

## All Ideas Generated
1. [Idea]
2. [Idea]

## Top Candidates

### Option A: [Name]
**Pitch**: [One sentence]
**Core Loop**: [30s / 5min / session description]
**Why it works**: [Alignment with pillars]
**Risks**: [What could go wrong]

### Option B: [Name]
...

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

brainstorm is a skill published in the GitHub repository CodePhobiia/claude-roblox-game-studio (9 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 29 tokens to every session and 664 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
