Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00056 | $0.00708 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00028 | $0.00354 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00011 | $0.00142 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00071 |
Grade A, and why
godot-build-optimization scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Godot Build Optimization
Use the bundled scripts/optimize_build.py helper from the repository or
installed package. It performs a bounded static scan and writes only to the
explicit output directory; it does not edit project.godot, export presets, or
engine source.
-
Inspect the project and target first. Run
planand review the detected renderer, text scripts, 2D/3D, navigation, XR, archive, and asset evidence:python scripts/optimize_build.py plan --project <project> --target windows -
Generate files only after the plan is appropriate for the target. Pass the exact Godot source version when it is known and keep output in a dedicated staging directory:
python scripts/optimize_build.py generate \ --project <project> --target windows --godot-version 4.5 \ --output <staging>/godot-build-sizeThis creates
custom.py,build_config.gdbuild, andoptimization-report.json. Compile matching export templates with the generated files, for example:scons platform=windows profile=<staging>/godot-build-size/custom.py \ build_profile=<staging>/godot-build-size/build_config.gdbuild -
Use
--minimal-modulesonly when the project has runtime smoke coverage. It setsmodules_enabled_by_default=noand enables only modules visible in the scan. Add--force <feature>when a feature is loaded dynamically or otherwise cannot be found statically. Treat every generated disable as a hypothesis until the release artifact launches cleanly. -
Export to a clean directory with the matching custom template, then launch that artifact without the editor. Check the first scene, localized text, input, saves, native extensions, and startup logs. Measure the result and preserve the report and digest:
python scripts/optimize_build.py measure --artifact <exported-file> \ --output <staging>/artifact-size.json
Read Size optimization guidance before choosing fallback text, module allowlisting, UPX, Wasm-opt, or Brotli. These choices can remove runtime features or change memory, antivirus, and hosting behavior.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

godot-build-optimization is a skill published in the GitHub repository dcc-mcp/dcc-mcp-godot (3 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 56 tokens to every session and 708 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
Other skills, from other repositories
add-mechanic
Add game mechanics with correct GDScript 4.x patterns -- movement, health, inventory, save/load.
qa-plan
Generate a QA test plan for a sprint or feature. Reads GDDs and story files, classifies stories by test type (Logic/Integration/Visual/UI), and produces a structured test plan covering automated tests required, manual test cases, smoke test scope, and playtest sign-off requirements. Run before sprint begins or when…
art-generate
Generates placeholder .aseprite files from asset specs using the Aseprite MCP. Reads asset specs and art bible, creates sprites with correct dimensions/palette/layers, exports PNGs. Run after /asset-spec has produced specs and /art-bible exists.
help
Analyzes what is done and the users query and offers advice on what to do next. Use if user says what should I do next or what do I do now or I'm stuck or I don't know what to do.
asset-audit
Audits game assets for compliance with naming conventions, file size budgets, format standards, and pipeline requirements. Identifies orphaned assets, missing references, and standard violations.
balance-check
Analyzes game balance data files, formulas, and configuration to identify outliers, broken progressions, degenerate strategies, and economy imbalances. Use after modifying any balance-related data or design. Use when user says 'balance report', 'check game balance', 'run a balance check'.
