aspid-visual-element-fluent

aspid-visual-element-fluent is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from VPDPersonal/Aspid.FastTools. It costs 109 tokens per session (3,453 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of chainable C# helper methods for building and configuring Unity UI Toolkit elements. UI Toolkit is Unity's system for creating editor and runtime interfaces from visual elements.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to construct Unity editor windows, inspectors, and runtime interfaces with children, classes, styles, values, bindings, and event handlers.
Why use it?
Without these helpers, interface setup can require many separate statements for adding children, setting styles, binding values, and handling clicks. The extensions keep related setup together while retaining the element's type.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00109 $0.03453
Opus 5.5 $0.00044 $0.01381
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00691
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00345

Security

Grade A, and why

aspid-visual-element-fluent scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

UI Toolkit fluent extensions

using Aspid.FastTools.UIElements; (editor helpers: also using Aspid.FastTools.UIElements.Editors;). If the user's scripts have an .asmdef, reference Aspid.FastTools (editor code: also Aspid.FastTools.Editor; Unity.Mathematics overloads: Aspid.FastTools.VisualElements.Math, enabled automatically when com.unity.mathematics is installed or on Unity 6000.5+, where the types ship in the engine).

Before using a method you have not seen in this file, confirm its exact name, parameters and receiver constraint in the installed package source. Do not guess. The package is Packages/tech.aspid.fasttools (embedded or local) or Library/PackageCache/tech.aspid.fasttools@* (git or registry); its extensions live in Runtime/Scripts/VisualElements/Extensions and, for editor helpers, Editor/Scripts/VisualElements/Extensions:

grep -rnE -A2 'public static [^=]*\bSetPlaceholder\b' Library/PackageCache/tech.aspid.fasttools@*/*/Scripts/VisualElements/Extensions

No match means the method does not exist in the installed version.

rootVisualElement.AddChild(new VisualElement()
    .AddClass("settings")
    .AddStyleSheetFromResources("UI/Settings")
    .SetPaddingX(12)
    .AddChildren(
        new Label("Settings").SetFontSize(14).AddBoldUnityFontStyleAndWeight(),
        new TextField("Name").SetPlaceholder("Player").AddValueChanged(evt => Rename(evt.newValue)),
        new Toggle("Enabled").SetValue(true, notify: false),
        new Button().SetTextSelf("Apply").EnableClass("primary", true).AddClicked(Apply)));

Chain rules

  • Setters return the same static type (T : SomeElement), so subtype methods stay available mid-chain.
  • Child operations (AddChild, AddChildren, InsertChild, RemoveChild, RemoveChildren, ClearChildren, and their ...If variants) return the parent.
  • element.style.SetX(...) overloads return the IStyle; call the element overload to keep chaining.
  • Start from the concrete type: after Q<VisualElement>() subtype methods (AddClicked, SetLabel) do not resolve.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
