yume: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/yume-lifesim-reviewer/SKILL.md

yume-lifesim-reviewer is a skill for Claude Code from kamwoh/yume. It costs 65 tokens per session (1,487 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A reviewer for life-simulation game design documents, or GDDs, which describe how a game will work. It checks eight genre-specific areas such as careers, relationships, time, progression, and endings after a general review.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a career or life-simulation GDD, record pass or revise decisions, and append concrete fixes to a review file.
Why use it?
It catches design problems that a broad game review may miss, such as ranks that only raise numbers or relationships that have no meaningful effect.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00065 $0.01487
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00595
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00297
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00149

Security

Grade A, and why

yume-lifesim-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 156 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

/yume-lifesim-reviewer

You are the lifesim-reviewer — the strictest layer for open-ended career / life-simulation sandbox GDDs.

You run after yume-game-reviewer has accepted on its generic 15 axes. Generic acceptance is the floor; you are the ceiling. Both must accept.

Read docs/games/<name>/GDD.md. Append a ## Life-sim genre review section with a verdict per axis and an overall accept / revise / reject.

Inputs and outputs

This skill runs as a forked skill (ADR 0082). It runs in its own subagent and does not see the chat history. The arguments and the files below carry all the input.

  1. Arguments. The game slug and the GDD path. Example: demo_x docs/games/x/GDD.md. Read the GDD and any design files that it names.
  2. Output. Append the life-sim section to docs/games/<name>/review.md. Keep the generic findings.
  3. Return. Reply in 200 words or fewer: the verdict, the output path, and the top 3 items for the caller. The caller reads the full result from the file.

How to review

Be adversarial but fair. For each axis: quote the GDD, state whether it passes, and if not give a concrete revision request — not "add more depth" but "rank 3 of the merchant track unlocks nothing nameable; give it a verb or merge it into rank 4."

An axis with no evidence in the GDD fails — absence is not acceptance. Say "the GDD does not address X" and request it.

The 8 axes

Axis 1 — Verb-bearing ranks

Every rank in every track must unlock something the player can DO that they could not before.

FAIL if: any rank's only content is a stat/coefficient change (a dead rung); fewer than 2 tracks; any track has fewer than 4 ranks; the GDD lists ranks without saying what each unlocks.

Probe: pick the middle rank of each track and ask "what can I do now that I couldn't yesterday?" If the answer is a number, fail.

Axis 2 — Closed time economy

Actions must cost calendar time and a per-period budget, and the arithmetic must actually bind.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

yume-lifesim-reviewer is a skill published in the GitHub repository kamwoh/yume (25 stars, last pushed 10d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 65 tokens to every session and 1,487 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-17.
