Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00063 | $0.00625 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00032 | $0.00313 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00013 | $0.00125 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00063 |
Grade C, and why
media scanned grade C with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Media
DCC-agnostic media utilities for render, playblast, flipbook, and review
artifacts. The tools invoke FFmpeg and FFprobe through vx, so a fresh machine
does not need users to install FFmpeg manually. If vx is not available on
PATH, non-read-only media tools run the official loonghao/vx installer for
the current platform and then retry the media command with the installed
binary. media__probe remains side-effect-free: when vx is missing it
returns vx_not_found instead of installing anything.
Use this skill after a DCC-native render/playblast/export tool has produced
files on disk. Prefer native DCC skills for creating the render output, then use
media__probe, media__sequence_to_mp4, media__thumbnail,
media__transcode, or media__extract_frames to inspect or repackage the
artifact.
Safety Contract
This skill intentionally exposes typed media operations, not a generic
vx <command> runner. Every tool builds a fixed vx ffmpeg or vx ffprobe
argument vector without shell=True, validates paths and enum fields, rejects
option-like paths, and requires explicit overwrite intent before replacing
outputs.
Configuration:
DCC_MCP_MEDIA_VX_BIN: explicit vx executable path or command name.DCC_MCP_MEDIA_AUTO_INSTALL_VX=0: disable automatic vx installation for non-read-only media tools.VX_INSTALL_DIR: override the official vx installer target directory.
Installer commands:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/loonghao/vx/main/install.sh | bash
powershell -c "irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/loonghao/vx/main/install.ps1 | iex"
Use absolute paths where possible. Relative paths are resolved by the process running the DCC-MCP server, which may not be the same working directory as the agent.
What ships with it
8 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

media is a skill published in the GitHub repository dcc-mcp/dcc-mcp-core (42 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 63 tokens to every session and 625 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it C with 2 findings (downloads and executes remote code, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
